2016年6月，由中南大学湘雅医院孟婕副教授带领的团队发现一种新型的抗纤维化药物-氟非尼酮，其能通过有效抑制NALP3 炎性体以及IL-1β/IL-1R1/MyD88/ NF-γB通路活性来抑制博来霉素诱导的肺部炎症及纤维化，从而为特发性间质性纤维化治疗提供新思路。该研究成果目前已在著名杂志journal of cellular and molecular medicine上发表（Cheng S, He L, Jin Z, et al. Fluorofenidone attenuates pulmonary inflammation and fibrosis via, inhibiting the activation of NALP3 inflammasome and IL-1β/IL-1R1/MyD88/NF-κB pathway[J].
